"Practice," relating to interlocutory judgments and writs of
enquiry, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Also, reported with amendment,

The Senate hill entitled an Act to repeal section 15, of
Article 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, and re-cnact
the same.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by adding after the last word of the seventh line
of section 1, the following: Provided, That no verdict or
award of a jury of inquisition or condemnation shall carry
interests until the property condemned shall be actually
taken possesion of by the party in whose favor said verdict
or award may have been rendered.

The proposed amendment was adopted, and the bill read a
second time.

Mr. Foster, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to John W.
Tyler, Henry F. Chelton and Major Todd, the stated portion
of certain remitted and certified fines by the Governor, after
having been paid into the Treasury.

Which was read a second time.
Also, reported without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to Banner Graves,
of Washington county, the sum of twenty dollars, pension
due to Joseph Graves, late of Washington county, deceased,
a soldier of the war of 1812.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay William Knabe & Co. for one seven and one-
third octave concert grand piano, supplied the Executive
Mansion on the 9th of February, 1870.

reported without amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of
the New York Mining Company, and the supplement
thereto.
