Mr. Lee presented the petition of Mrs. Apphia Moores,
widow of a soldier of the war of 1812, for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pea-
sions.

Mr. Koons presented the petition of John A. Lynch, W.
Viers Bouic, W. J. Ross and other citizens of Frederick
county, praying the passage of an Act providing for an addi-
tional jury term of Court in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Bird presented the petition of Shriver, Buck & Co.,
and one hundred and sixty-six other citizens of Baltimore
City, in favor of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Vanderford presented the petition of sundry citizens
of Carroll county, and members of Providence M. P. Church,
praying the passage of an Act authorizing the sale of the old
church and appropriating the money arising from such sale to
the payment of the debt upon the new church.

Which was read and referred to the Carroll delegation.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of Shadrack Kemp,
John T. Fowble, Jacob D. Geist and forty-nine others, in
favor of annexing the whole of Baltimore county to Baltimore
City.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Grafton presented the petition of J. J. Streett and
twenty-four other citizens of Harford county, for removal of
fish-pots in the Susquehanna River.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Hodson presented the petition of numerous citizens of
Dorchester county, praying the passage of a Local Option and
Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Stewart, of Baltimore City, presented the petition of
M. J. Weber and twenty-one other gentlemen of Baltimore,
against the proposed Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
