Mr. Thompson submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out "one-half," in line 4, section 2, and insert
"one fourth;" and strike out "one-half," in line 6, and in-
sert "three-fourths;" after the word "of," in line 7, strike
out the word "each," and insert "Talbot;" strike out
the word "two," in line 7, and insert "three;" and insert
after the word "dollars," in line 8, "and upon Queen
Anne's county shall not exceed the sum of one thousand dol-
lars."
