On motion of Mr. Hodson,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill, providing a Fence Law for Bucktown District,
Dorchester county.

On. motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Printing to in-
troduce a bill to provide for the printing of the General As-
sembly of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Howard,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation and Mr.
Fletchall to introduce a bill to encourage fox-hunting in How-
ard county.

Mr. Freaner, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
to whom was referred the Joint Resolutions in relation to the
boundary line between the States of Maryland and Virginia,
reported the same, with proposed amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Fourth Resolution, line 3, strike out the name of Hon Wm.
Pinkney Whyte, and the name of Hon, John W. Davis.

The proposed amendment was adopted,

And said Resolutions, as amended, read a second time and
passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
