Pinkney, of Baltimore city, praying certain relief therein
mentioned

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceedings.

Mr. Blake presented the petitions of Mary Winninger,
widow of Stephen Winninger, Rachael Glenn, widow of
Thomas Glenn, Miley Zachary, widow of Alexander Zachary,
Lydia Gorsuch, widow of Samuel Gorsuch, praying to be
restored to the pension list.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions,

Mr. Denson presented the petitions of Mary E. Baker,
widow of John Baker, Louisa Posey, widow of Adrion Posey,
Mary A. Fisher, widow of Martin Fisher, Ann Lucas, widow
of Joshua Lucas, praying to be placed upon the pension roll.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Steiner presented the petition of Wm. Richardson,
Dennis Scholl and one hundred and eighteen others, citizens
of Frederick county, respectfully protesting against any
change in the Law passed January Session, 1872, for the
protection of birds in said county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Steiner, Carroll
and Tuck.

Also,

Presented the petition of Charles Dronenberg and thirty-
two others, citizens of Frederick county, respectfully praying
the repeal of the Law prohibiting fishing in the Monocacy
River with nets, seines, fish-baskets, &c.

Which was read and referred to Messrs Steiner, Brattan
and Mudd.

On motion by Mr, Brewer,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Brewer, Blake and Knight
to introduce a bill to be entitled "An Act to repeal section
78 of Article XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title 'Montgomery county,' sub-title 'Rockville,' and
to re-enact the same with amendments."

On motion by Mr. Longwell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
