others, against a Local Option Law,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Staylor presented the petition of S. M. Gibbons, Scott
Hastings, Charles Killenger and five hundred and seventeen
others, against a Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Robinson presented the petition of Elijah Williams,
S. D. Lynch, Joseph Armiger, Joshua Osbourne and numer-
ous other citizens of Anne Arundel county, asking the pas-
sage of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of Lizzie A. Prichett, Christianna Crandall,
Martha B. Hardesty and numerous other ladies of Anne
Arundel county, asking the passage of a Local Oplion and
Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of Mary H. Murray, Alice J. Winchester,
Sallie C. Murray and numerous other ladies of Anne Arun-
del county, asking the passage of a Local Option and Dam-
age Law.

Also,

The petition of H. M. Murray, C. Morris Cheston, Thos.
B. Glover and numerous other citizens of Anne Arundel
county, praying the passage of a Local Option and Damage
Law.

Also,

The petition of J. L. Glover, John Crandall, Thomas
Byrnes and numerous other citizens of Anne Arundel county,
asking the passage of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Mackey presented the petition of Eliza Garrett, widow
of John, sixty-two years of age, asking to be restored to the
pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on P.en-
sions.

Mr. Matthews presented the petition of John W. Stritchoff,
Wm. L. Light and twenty-five others, asking that the Com-
missioners of Baltimore and Harford counties levy a sum of
money to build a bridge over the Little Gunpowder River.
