reception of convalescent patients from the said Hospital, and
also to purchase and hold tracts of land in Baltimore county,
for the reception, education and care of orphan colored
children.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enlarge and extend the
powers of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the
City of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the construc-
tion of fire-proof vaults in the court-house at Easton.

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Seth,
Valliant and Thompson.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of Jan-
uary session, 1872, chapter 54, entitled an Act to exempt all
that portion of the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, lying
northward of a certain line therein described, from the opera-
tion and effects of sections 1 and 3, of Article 98, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Wild Fowl," and to re-enact
other sections to be in force and operation over said waters,
by repealing section 16 of said Act, and amending and re-
enacting the same.

Which read a first time and referred to the Committee on
the Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries,

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Police," to be section 830 of said
Article.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
City delegation.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Worcester county to copy the General
Index to Land Records in his office, from 1842 to 1844.

Which was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Pruitt,
Merrill and Sudler.
