mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of B. Rush Ridgely,
Geo. H. Merryman, S. H, Green and thirty other citizens, in
favor of annexing the whole of Baltimore county to Baltimore
City.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Bird presented the petition of James Thomas and for-
ty-nine other citizens of Calvert county, for a Local Op-
tion and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Sudler presented the petition of citizens of Somerset
county, against increase of the Oyster Police Force.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of A. B. Coe, Wil-
liam Allison, John Smith and others, opposed to Local Op-
tion.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Groh presented the petition of William Welfheimer,
Charles W. Oehin and two hundred and ninety-four others,
against Local Option in Baltimore City.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Matthews presented the petition of E. 8. Peerce and
one hundred and fifty others, asking that a law be passed to
protect fish in the Great Gunpowder River, in Baltimore
county.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county dele-
gation.

Mr. Lancaster presented the petition of many citizens of
Charles county, praying that a reward be paid for foxes
killed by dogs.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

Mr. Seth presented the petition of the Commissioners of
the town of Easton, Talbot county, asking an amendment
of the charter of said town.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Seth, Valliant and
Stake.
