On motion of Mr. Seth, it was

Ordered, That the Speaker he made Chairman of said Com-
mittee.

The Speaker named Messrs. Stake and Leonard on said
Committee.

Mr. Keech submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Committee appointed hy this House to
make arrangements for the members of this House to attend'
the funeral of the late Honorable Robert Fowler, late a mem-
ber of this House, be, and they are hereby, authorized to
procure the hacks and other articles necessary for the mem-
bers of this House, and shall present the bill for same to the
Committee on Claims, which is hereby authorized and directed
to pay the same.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Leonard, from the Committee of Arrangements, sub-
mitted the following

REPORT.

The Committee of Arrangements report that the mem-
bers will be expected to meet in the gentlemen's parlor at the
City Hotel, Baltimore, at 11.30 A. M., on Thursday, the 5th
instant, for the purpose of attending the funeral of Honorable
Robert Fowler.

Preparations will be made to convey them to the place of
interment.

On the part of the Committee:

A. K. STAKE.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Merryman submitted the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATE,

March 4th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

This Body have passed a Resolution that when the House
adjourns to-day, it stands adjourned until to-morrow, Thurs-
day evening, at 8 o'clock, and that the House of Delegates
will attend the funeral of the late member, Hon. Robert
Fowler, in a body, from Barnum's Hotel, at 12 o'clock, M.,
to-morrow, and we respectfully invite the attendance of your
Honorable Body.
