Mr. Thompson submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the Chief Clerk of the House telegraph to
the commanding officer of the 5th Regiment, who propose
visiting Annapolis to-morrow, notifying them that the House
will not be then in session.

Which was adopted.

And the order acted on forthwith.

On motion of Mr. Seth,
At 1 1/2 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 4, 12 and 15, of
an Act incorporating the town of Laurel, in Prince George's
county, and re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a

third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to add a new section to Article 19
of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Somerset
county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Lee, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules being
suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Bel Air,
in Harford county.

Which was read a first time.
