Mr. Dawson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1, of Article 28, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commis-
sioners," and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Stake, Chairrrfan of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
cle 21, of Public Local Laws, title "Washington County,"
sub-title "Roads."

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Lamar, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to allow mileage to witnesses appear-
ing before the Circuit Court for Frederick county.

Which was read a first time.
Also, unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
cle 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to crimes
and punishments, under the sub-head of "Religious Meet-
ings."

The unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. McColgan, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed at
January session, 1870, chapter 168, entitled an additional
supplement to an Act to incorporate the Roman Catholic Con-
gregation in Baltimore Town, passed November session, 1795,
chapter 15, to enable the said corporation to purchase a new
burial-ground.
