Mr. Grafton presented the petition of A. D. Wilson and
eighty other citizens of Harford county, for removal of fish-
pots on Susquehanna River.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Merryman presented the petition of Thomas Love,
George Jessop, John D. Matthews and fifteen others, in favor
of annexing all of Baltimore county to Baltimore City.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
the Eextension of the Limits of Baltimore City...

Mr. Leonard presented the petition of lumber dealers in
Baltimore City, against the Inspection Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on In-
spections.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of B. F. Sappington and
one hundred and twenty-five other citizens of Kent county,
asking the passage of a law to prevent the carrying of
weapons and fire-arms on the the day of election.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage :

BY THE SENATE,

March 3rd, 1874.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We invite you to be present in the Senate Chamber, at 12
o'clock, M., to-morrow, the 4th instant, to participate with
us in the inauguration of the Governor elect, and to witness
the administration of the oath, by the Chief Justice of the
Court of Appeals, iu compliance with the requirements of the
Constitution and Laws of the State.

We will appoint a Committee to wait upon your Honorable
Body, and conduct you to our Chamber.

Secretary.

Mr. Seth submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 4th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
