Mr. Turner, of Calvert, submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, if Mr. Turner,
of Calvert, had been in his seat, he would have voted in the
negative on, the Dog Law.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Hart,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend charter of the Baltimore and Swan
Lake Rail Road Company.

Also,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill eatitled an Act to incorporate the Consumers'
Co-Operative Gas Company of Baltimore City.

On motion of Mr. Sudler,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 79, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Chancery," and
sub-title " Non Compos Mentis," and re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Baltimore County Wa-
ter Company.

On motion of Mr. T. H. Hamilton,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to pay Alexander H. Seth, a Jus-
tice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for Talbot
county, the sum of three hundred and fourteen dollars, as
fees in certain cases.

On motion of Mr. Miller,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to prevent swine from running at
large in the streets, lanes and alleys contiguous to Knoxville,
in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Gill,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Academy of
Music, of Baltimore City, to issue bonds to raise funds to
complete their building.

On motion of Mr. Colton,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Maryland Horticultural
Society.
