WEDNESDAY, March 4th, 1874.

The House met, and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Hedges.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members :

Hamilton, Cooper, C. R. Hamilton, McWilliams, Foster,

Mr. Davis presented the petition of Rachel Fulton, wife of
Alexander Fulton, who served in the war of 1812, asking a
pension from passage of Act.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Turner presented the petition of J. O. Dorsey and
ninety-five other oystermen, citizens of Calvert county, pray-
ing for protection in the waters of Calvert county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Clark presented the petition of Priscilla Grimes, pray-
ing the General Assembly to place her name on the pension
list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Riley presented the petition of Ann Duff, the widow
of James Rampley, a soldier in the war of 1814, to be placed
on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of Ann Mary Moore,
widow of Richard Moore, for a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
