The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 180, of Article 30,
of the supplement to the Code of General Public Laws, re-
lating to Sabbath breaking, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Mr. Buchanan, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at January
session, 1872, chapter 237, entitled an Act to provide for the
collection of arrearages of State taxes due on the shares of
capital stock of National Banks and Banking Associations
located in this State and doing business therein.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of twelve
thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, to
erect a fire-proof addition to the building known as the
"Comptroller's Office," in the city of Annapolis.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate certain fines to pur-
chasing a Law Library, in the place of the one destroyed by
fire, for the Circuit Court for Washington county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Buchanan, from the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported unfavorably upon,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the 20th section of the
56th Article of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to the license of hawkers and pedlars.

The unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Henkle, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to establish and maintain free turn-
pikes, highways and bridges within the proposed extended
corporate limits of Baltimore City.

Which was read a first time, and,

On motion of Mr. Merry man,
Ordered to he printed.

Mr. Matthews, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
