Mr. Latchford, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to remove all gates from the public
roads in Prince George's county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Seth, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
bly,

A bill entitled an Act to add certain sub-sections to Ar-
ticle nineteen, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Somerset County" under sub-title "License," and to repeal
section one hundred and thirty-eight of said Article, entitled
"Somerset County," under sub-title "Retailers."

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Robinson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed January
session, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chapter two hun-
dred and fifty-four, sub-titled an Act to authorize and em-
power the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county
to appropriate a sum of money to the capital stock of the
Annapolis and North Severn Bridge Company, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr, Coulbourn, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom
was referred.

The bill entitled an Act to add new sections to Article
nineteen of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Som-
erset county,

Reported the same without amendment.

Mr. Vanderford, Chairman of a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Carroll county, in the State of Maryland,
to pay annually hereafter, to the Mayor and Common Coun-
cil of Westminster, in said county, a proportion of one-half
of the road-tax annually levied upon the taxable property in.
Westminster, by said County Commissioners.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Dawson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
