of the State of Maryland, by repealing section thirty-five, of
Article four, of the said Constitution, and adopting the fol-
lowing section in lieu thereof.

On motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce
a bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners of Carroll county to pay annually to the
Mayor and Common Council of Westminster, a proportion of
one-half of the Road Tax annually levied upon the taxable
property in Westminster, by said County Commissioners.

On motion of Mr. McColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 13, of Arti-
cle 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Courts,"
and re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Merryman,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Merryman, McColgan and
Sudler, to introduce a bill to make certain improvements upon
State House Grounds, in front of the Capitol.

On motion of Mr. Loane,

Leave was granted to the Kent delegation and Mr. Seth
to introduce a bill to amend the charter of Chestertown, in
Kent county.

On motion of Mr. Grill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Calvert
Chemical and Fertilizer Company.

On motion of Mr. Lamar,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill to allow mileage to witnesses attending the Cir-
cuit Court for Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. McWilliams,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to amend section 13, of ah Act passed at the
January session, 1872, chapter 153, entitled "An Act to
provide for the Inspection of Steam Boilers in the City of
Baltimore."

On motion of Mr. Robey,

Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to in-
troduce a bill to repeal, re-enact and add an additional sec-
tion to the Public Local Laws, in Prince George's county.
