Mr. Keech submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE op DELEGATES,

February 27th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received the message of your Honorable Body, pro-
posing a Commitee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of
the two Houses on printed Senate bill, No. 25, and concur in
the game.

We have appointed on the part of this House Messrs.
Keech, McColgan and Brace, to confer with the gentlemen
named on the part of the Senate.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Seth submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 27th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate

We have received your message announcing your disagree-
ment to House bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county to borrow money on the
credit of the county for the purpose of purchasing a site on
which to erect a court-house and jail, to issue bonds for the
payment of the same, and to levy taxes on the assessable prop-
erty of the county to redeem said bonds, and to pay the in-
terest thereon," and respectfully announce that we have failed
to perceive any sufficient reason for receding from our action
upon said bill, and therefore return said bill to your House,
with, the request that you will reconsider your action and
pass the same.

Mr. Watkins, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, submitted the following

REPORT.

The Committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred
the order of Mr. Keech, as follows, viz :

"WHEREAS, On the 16th day of February, instant, Mr.
Brace, of Allegany county, offered the following order, viz:
'That the Comptroller of the Treasury furnish to this House
a list of the clerks regularly employed by him in the year
