Which was read and referrel to the Frederick and Carroll
delegations.

Mr. Nicodemus presented the petition of one hundred and
ten citizens of Frederick county, asking for further pro-
tection of birds in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Annan presented the petition of Milton R. Lewis, J.
Thos. Browning and forty-four other citizens of Kemptown
and vicinity, of New Market District, No. 9, Frederick coun-
ty, for an additional Magistrate, to be located in or near
Kemptown.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county, presented the petition of
J. Henry Snyder, Alex. Pepplar and seventy-six other tax-
payers and residents of Baltimore county, in opposition to
the extension of the city limits.

Also,

The petition of E. B. Tyler, Jeremiah Enery, Theo. Slack
and others, against the extension of the limits of'Baltimore
City,

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Hart presented the petition of Owen E. Riley, John
Kline, Jas. T. Porter and thirty-five other inhabitants of
Baltimore county, asking for the extension of the limits of
Baltimore City.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Nicodemus presented the petition of Edward Trail,
Calvin Page, Philip Reich and others, for aid to the Freder-
ick and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. McWilliams presented the petition of W. T. Walters,
Joseph Reynolds, Jas. W. Tyson and forty others, asking
for an extension of the city limits.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
the Extension of the Limits of Baltimore City.

Mr. Galt presented the petition of citizens of Frederick
and Carroll counties, praying the passage of a law prohibit-
ing the sale of intoxicating liquor in Harney, or within three
miles thereof.
