Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

Mr. Seth, from the Committee on the Judiciary, (the
rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to pay P. T. Hamilton the sum of
forty-nine dollars.

Which was read a first time, and,

On motion of Mr. Seth,
Referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Seth, from the Committee on the Judiciary, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to pay George E. Haddaway, a
Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for
Talbot county, the sum of five hundred and thirty dollars,
as fees in certain cases.

Which was read a first time, and,

On motion of Mr. Seth,
Referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
(the rules being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of the Act of
1860, chapter 274, entitled an Act to incorporate the Balti-
more and Liberty Turnpike Company, and to enact a sub-
stitute therefor.
