Mr. Lee presented the petition of Jesse DeHaven and sev-
enty other citizens of Harford county, praying the passage of
a Fence Law.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Hart presented the petition of Elizabeth. Koockogey,
76 years of age, to he placed on the pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Margaret Dinsmore, 83 years of age, to be
placed on the pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Elizabeth Ann Dorsey, 68 years of age, to
he placed on the pension rolls.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Mackey presented the petition of Mary Ewing, for a
pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Brown presented the petition of S. T. C. Brown, John
D. Armour, James George and sixty other citizens of Car-
roll county, for the passage of a Dog Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of J. H. Blake, Wm.
Updegraff and ninety other citizens and merchants of Hagers-
town, against the passage of a law imposing license on sam-
ple traders.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Stake presented the petition of Mrs. E. McComas and
eighty other ladies of Washington county, for a Local Option
and Damage Law.

Also,

The petition of B. F. Kendall and sixty-nine other citizens of
Washington county, for Local Option and Damage Laws.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mitte on Temperance.

Mr. Annan submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that the ab-
sence of Mr. Koons, of Frederick, from the sessions of the
