Mr. Brace presented the petition of O. E. Humphrey and
two hundred and thirty-one other citizens of Cumberland, for
Local Option and Damage Laws.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

The remonstrance of William M. Price, M. Y. Rabold
and twenty-fire other property holders of Cumberland,
against the passage of the Senate City Charter Bill.

Mr. Galt presented the petition of two hundred and fifty
citizens of Carroll county, against taxing owners of dogs.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

Mr. Matthews presented the petition of Geo. H. Merry-
man, William Webster and others, that a law be passed to
protect fish in the Gunpowder River and its tributaries in
Baltimore countv.
