On motion of Mr. Watkins,

Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to in-
troduce a bill for the protection and encouragement of sheep
raising in Montgomery county.

On motion of Mr. Staylor,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate "The Baltimore Printing and
Publishing Company."

On motion of Mr. Waters,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to report a
bill refunding David Grogg, late collector of State taxes for
the 8th election district of Carroll county, for monies over-
paid into the Treasury, for 1866 and 1867, as per certificate
of Comptroller and Treasurer.

On motion of Mr. Glotfelty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. West, Glotfelty and Fletch-
all, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to provide for the
appointment of Officers of Registration in Garrett county.

On motion of Mr. Robey,

Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to
introduce a bill to repeal an Act of 1872, chapter 294, and
the Act of 1870, chapter 216, and section 44, of the Public
Local Laws, title "Prince George's County," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Lee,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments
chapter 182 of the Act of 1853, entitled an Act to incorporate
the Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Church in Bel Air.

On motion of Mr. Nicodemus,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate a Company to build a Turnpike
Road from Woodsboro to Crcagerstown, Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Grimes,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to introduce
a bill to refund to Joseph F. Smith, John M. Gaines and
Otho B. Smith, executors of Dr. Otho J. Smith, a sum of
money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

On motion of Mr. Etchison,

Leave was granted to the Commmittee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill enacting a State law compensating fox hunters
for the destruction of foxes.
