widow ol Joseph, to be placed on the pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Robinson presented the petition of Eliza Kurtchly,
widow of Nathaniel, to be placed on the pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Hart presented the petition of Elizabeth Wysham,
widow of John, to be placed upon the pension roll.

Also,

Of Catharine Forrester, widow of Jacob, to be placed upon
the pension roll.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Wack presented the petition of Catharine Townsend,
widow of Singleton, to be placed upon the pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee oa Pen-
sions.

Mr. Grimes presented the petition of the President, Direc-
tors and Company of the Hagerstown and Sharpsbarg Turn-
pike Company, for authority to locate a toll-gate at a certain
point on said road.

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of George W. Reedy
and eighty other citizens of Washington county, praying for
the passage of a Local Option and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Hodson presented the petition of Daniel T. Orem and
one hundred and four other citizens of Dorchester county,
for a Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. McAleese presented the petition of three thousand
two hundred and forty citizens and tax-payers of Baltimore
City, opposed to the passage of a Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
