Said bill having on yesterday been rejected by a vote of
the House.

Pending which,

On motion of Mr. Watkins,

The vote by which said bill had been rejected, was re-
considered.

Mr, Watkins moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and said bill be referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,

Mr Brace moved to lay the motion on the table.

The question recurring upon sustaining the motion,

Mr. Brace demanded the yeas and nays.

The demand being sustained,
