ing, proceed to the election of three Police Commissioners for
the city of Baltimore, as agreed upon between the two Hours,
and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly
of January Session 1874.

The Chairman appointed Mr. Lloyd, on the part of the Sen-
ate, and Mr, Stake, on the part of the House of Delegates, to
act as tellers.

Mr. Walsh nominated W. H. B. Fusselbaugh, for the
term of six years,

Mr. Merryman nominated Harry Gilmor, for the term of
four years.

Mr. Loane nominated John Milroy, for the term of two
years.

Mr. Bird nominated J. B. Askew, for the term of six years.

Mr. Suit nominated Robert Turner, for the term of four
years.

Mr. Miller nominated C. C. Fulton, for the term of two
years.

The Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of
Delegates called the rolls of the respective Houses, where-
upon each Senator and Member proceeded to ballot,

Upon counting the ballots Mr. Lloyd, upon the part of the
tellers, made the following report:

HOUSE OF DELEGATES.

February 3rd, 1874.

At a Joint Meeting of the Senate and House of Delegates
held in compliance with an Act passed at January Session
1874, to elect three persons to constitute the Board of Police
Commissioners of the city of Baltimore, whose terms of
office shall commence after the expiration of the term for
which the present board was elected.

The tellers appointed, respectfully report, that there were 96

ballots cast, and

W. H. B. Fusselbaugh, received for the term of six years, 75
votes.

Harry Gilmor, received for the term of four years, 79 votes.
John Milroy, received for the term of two years, 76 votes.
J. B. Askew, received for the term of six years, 17 votes.
Robert Turner, received for the term of four years, 20 votes.
