On motion of Mr. West,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill for the protection of coal mines in Allegauy
and Garrett counties.

On motion of Mr. Latchford,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal an Act, chapter 260, of an Act
passed 1870, to incorporate the town of Laurel, in Prince
George's county.

On motion of Mr. McColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a sub-section to sec-
tion 227, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-
titled "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Elections," to be sec-
tion 1 of said section 227 of said Article.

On motion of Mr. Hart,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal section 4 of the Act of 1860, chap-
ter 274, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Liberty Turnpike Company, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. MoColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to confirm and enlarge the
powers and authority of the Hebrew Orphan Asylum of Bal-
timore City, a corporation chartered under the provisions of
Article 26, of the Code of Public General Laws.

On motion of Mr. McCosker,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore City delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal, amend and re-enact
sections 954 and 955, chapter 29, passed at the session begun
in 1861, and add another section thereto.

On motion of Mr. McColgan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact section
3, of Article 40, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Fines and Forfeitures," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
