Mr. Gordy presented the petition of Catherine Neal, to
have her name restored to the pension rolls.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Fenton presented the petition of Catherine Slater,
authorizing the Appeal Tax Court of Baltimore City to re-
assess her property.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of certain citizens of
Washington county, asking that certain fines imposed by the
Circuit Court for Washington county, be used for the restora-
tion of the public Law Library destroyed by fire.

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Mr. McWilliams presented the petition of C. W. Ford,
against a Local Option Law, and in favor of appointing an
Inspector of Liquors.

Which was read, and

On motion of Mr. McWilliams,

Eeferred to the Committee on Inspections.

Mr. Lancaster presented the petition of E. Wells, praying
compensation fur publishing list of defaulters of the State in
the "Port Tobacco Times."

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of E. W. Spear and fifty
other citizens of Kent county, praying for the passage of a
law against pound nets in the waters of Kent county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Merritt, Hines
and Thompson.

Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of Mary Phelps,
widow of Jacob, for a pension.

Which was read and referred fo the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of A. L. Corey and
others, against a law to prevent pound nets in Kent county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Merritt, Hines
and Thompson.

Mr. Nicodemus presented the petition of the original pro-
ceedings of a town meeting held at Frederick, Maryland,
Friday evening, the 13th of February, 1874.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.
