Mr. Waters submitted the following order :

Ordered, That in consideration of the accumulation of bills
on the Speaker's desk, an evening session be held this day,
and that when this House adjourns, it stands adjourned un-
til 8 o'clock, P. M.

Which was rejected.

On motion of Mr. McWilliams,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Pawnbrokers Bank of Bai-
rn ore City.

On motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce
a bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to
repeal the 81st section, of Article 7, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, relating to the Sheriff of Carroll county, as
amended by chapter 351, passed at the January session,
1874, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Hodson, Chairman ef a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3, chapter 2, and
section 1, chapter 19, of an Act passed at the January ses-
sion, 1872, entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at the
January session 1870, entitled "Public Education," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time and ordered to be printed,
and referred to the Committee on Education.

Mr, Lee, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Harford county, to subscribe to the capital stock
of a railroad passing through said county.

Which was read a first time, and ordered to be printed.

Mr. Brace, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
