Mr. Williams presented the petition of S. H. Melson and
others, of Caroline county, praying the passage of a Local
Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Waters presented the petition of H. C. Cushing,
George W. Gilbert and seventy-two other citizens of Union-
town District, Carroll county, in favor of Local Option and
a more stringent License Law.

Also,

The petition of Dulcie B. Cushing and sixty other ladies
of Carroll county, in favor of Local Option.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Etchison presented the petition of B. J. Montgomery
and thirty-eight others, in opposition to the establishment of
a Fence Law or Prince George's county.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's dele-
gation.

Mr. Henkle presented the petition of George W. Wilten,
and fifty-four others, in favor of a Local Option Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Fenton presented the petition of W. H. Cole, in favor
of the passage of the Wages Attachment Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the,
Judiciary.

Mr. Fenton presented the petition of the Boy's Home
Society.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways,
and Means.

Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of St. Mary's In-
dustrial School for Boys, for an appropriation of fifteen,
thousand dollars, for the support of the Institution.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.

Mr. Lee presented the petition of C. J. Parker and eighty
other citizens of Harford county, praying the passage of a,
Local Option and Damage Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.
