The petition of Martin L. Jean and i'ourty-four other citi-
zens of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd districts of Baltimore county,
asking the passage of a Stock Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Mr. Joyce presented the memorial of Hon. Isaac D. Jones,
L. Waters and Wm. J. Aydelott, for payment of balance
due them as Commissioners to adjust the Virginia and Mary-
land Boundary Line.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims,

Mr. Cooper presented the petition of Herman Sherbee,
Charles L. Mureek, and thirty other boss barbers, against
closing barber shops before 10 A. M., on Sunday.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Kemp presented the petition of seventy-four citizens
of Queen Anne's county, against the license system.

Also,

The petition of one hundred females, above the age of
fourteen, for a Local Option Law, and penal punishment for
all who sell spirituous liquore in Queen Anne's county.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Pruitt presented the petition of two hundred and
twenty citizens of Worcester county for Local Option.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Brace presented the petition of Saml. H. Griffith and
seventy-five other male citizens of Frostburg, Allegany coun-
ty, for Local Option and Damage Laws.

Also,

The petition of Mrs. J. P. Getzendanner and seventy-six
other ladies of Frostburg, Allegany county, for Local Option,
and Damage Laws.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Annan presented the petition for a general law prohib-
iting the sale of spirituous liquors by David Gamble and
others, some of whom are regular drunkards.
