At 2 3/4o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned.

mus, Annan, Lee, Dawson, Williams, McCosker, T. H.
Hamilton, Cooper, C. R. Hamilton, McWilliams, Foster,
Staylor, Stewart, of Baltimore city, Gill, Greenfield, Harig,
Joyce, Groh, Fenton, Watkins, Fletchall, Wier, Wack,
Park, Brace, Waters, Vanderford, Stewart, of Howard,
Leonard, Bedsworth, West—60.

Mr. Nicodetmis presented the petition of Wm. W. Haff-
ner and eighteen other citizens of Frederick county, asking
for the same protection by law to singing schools as is now
furnished to religious meetings,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of Wm. Conly and
others, to repeal or amend the Attachment Laws.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr, Buchannn presented the petition of John M, Manger
and sixty-seven other citizens of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dis-
tricts of Baltimore county, asking the passage of a Stock Law.

Also,

The petition of Martin L. Jean and thirty-seven other citi-
zens of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd districts of Baltimore county,
asking the passage of a Dog Law.
