Mr. Freaner, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to reader inoperative in Allegany
county, the provisions of Article 48, Code of Public General
Laws, commonly called the "Insolvent Laws."

The unfavorable report was adopted.
Also, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 12, of Article 64,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Mortgages,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a certain legacy bequeathed by the
last will and testament of Susanna Welty, to the German
Baptist Church, commonly called "Welty's Church," in
Washington county, Maryland.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Fletchall, from the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1872, chapter
260, entitled an Act to repeal section 28, erroneously desig-
nated as section 38 in said Act of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-title "Bladens-
burg;" also, to repeal section 29 and 30, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Prince George's county," sub-title "Bla-
densburg," and to amend and re-enact the same.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merryman, Chairman of the Committee on Agricul-
ture, reported unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
and 8, of Article 36, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Estrays and Vessels Adrift," and sections 1 and 2,
of the Act of 1870, chapter 403, and to substitute in lieu
thereof the following.

The unfavorable report was adopted.

Mr. Fletchall, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2, of the Act of
January session, 1870, chapter 387, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Washington, Colesville and Ashton Turnpike
Company, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
