Mr. Robinson presented the petition of E. J. Henkle, John
E. Thomas, James M. Lucas, E. F. Sbipley, and other citi-
zens of Anne Arundel county, asking of the Legislature the
passage of a law to prevent cattle and other stock from run-
ning at large in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of S. A. J. Wickes and
forty other citizens of Kent county, asking for an oyster
police boat in the waters of Kent county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county, presented the petition
of G. W. Lurman, Wm. Wilkens, John C, Holland, and
one hundred others, to prevent stock running at large in the.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd districts of Baltimore county.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.

Mr. Hodson presented the petition of James Wallace and
eighteen other citizens of Dorchester county, for a law to
secure a wholesale market for horticultural products of the
State.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
that subject.

Mr. Merritt presented the petition of Dr. S. G. Fisher, S.
A. J. Wickes and forty other citizens of Kent county, pray-
ing the passage of a law to prevent the taking or catching of
fish in the waters of Kent county, in pound nets.

Which was read and referred to the Kent and Queen
Anne's delegations.

Mr. Vanderford presented the petition of one hundred citi-
zens of Carroll county, praying the passage of a law making
all executions of criminals in this State strictly private.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Berry presented the petition of George Long, Susan
Miller, Sophia Robrer, Catharine Kline, Samuel Creager,
Samuel Lutz, Catharine Moore, .Madalene Wright, Ann
Frautz, Ann Moxley, James Sawails, Elizabeth Wolfkill,
Mary Crane and George Uhler, to be restored to the pension
rolls.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
