1874.J OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 253

Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of Josiah Harrison,
78 years of age, and Mary Flaharty, widow of John, 70 years
of age, to be restored to the pension roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Keech presented the petition of Rachael .Yingling and
others, to have the name of Eachael Yingling replaced upon
the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Staylor submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that John
Staylor, Jr., was absent yesterday on account of sickness,
and had he been present, he would have voted for Hon.
James B. Groome for Governor.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Brace submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that William
Latchford, of Prince George's county, was absent from his
seat yesterday on account of sickness.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hart submitted the following order:

Ordered, By this House, that when it adjourns to-morrow,
it stand adjourned until Tuesday morning, February 10th,
11 o'clock.

Which was read.

Mr. Brace submitted the following amendment:

Strike out all after the word "ordered," and insert the
following : " That when this House adjourns to-day, it stand
adjourned until Monday next, at 11 o'clock, P. M.
