Mr. Mackey presented the petition of Arthur Alexander,
Eebecca Bryson, James Foster, Hugh Hamilton, James
Fisher, and Mary Boulden, of Cecil county, asking to be
placed on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Turner, of Cecil, presented the petition of W. W.
Carter, T. Vincent Bonsai and one hundred and twenty-one
others of Cecil county, praying the passage of an Act grant-
ing Local Option.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Grimes presented the petition of A. M. V. B. Deaner,
C. M. Keedy and other citizens of Washington county, for
the passage of a law to prohibit stock from running at large
on public and private roads.

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Mr. Grafton presented the petition of Wm. F. Warner and
seventeen other citizens of Harford county, for a Local Option
Law.

Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Turner, of Cecil, presented the petition of C. Wilber
Knight, Hugh A. Thompson and one hundred and twelve
others of Cecil county, praying the passage of an Act grant-
ing Local Option.

Also,

The petition of Louis H. Richards, J. T. Eeynolds, Jr.,
and one hundred and fifty-eight others, for Local Option
Laws.

Also,

The petition of B. F. Price, John W. Davis and two hun-
dred and twenty-two otters of Cecil county, praying the pas-
sage of a Local Option Law.

Which were severally read and referred to the Select Com-
mittee on Temperance.

Mr. Greenfieid presented a petition representing one hun-
dred and forty-one million dollars insurance capital, asking
the passage of the Act to incorporate the Fire Insurance Sal-
vage Corps.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
