A bill entitled "An Act to enlarge and define the powers
of the Boys' Home Society of Baltimore."

The Clerk of the House of Delegates, appeared and de-
livered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 2nd, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
to appoint a Joint Committee, to consist of three froin the
House and two from the Senate, to notify the Honorable
Barnes Compton of his election to the office of State Treasu-
rer.

We have named on the part of the House Messrs. Gill,
Buchanan and Hodson.
