introduce an Act to authorize and empower the Trustees of
Providence Methodist Protestant Church, near Mechanicsville,
Carroll county, to sell and convey said church property.

On motion of Mr. Brace,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Brace, Freaner and West,
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 9 and 10,
Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Alle-
gany county and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Merryman,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to in-
troduce a bill repealing the Act of January session, 1868, in-
corporating the town of Lutherville, Baltimore county.

On motion of Mr. Lamar,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill to prevent the carrying of weapons whilst attend-
ing places of divine worship, in Catoctin District, No. 6, in
Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. Brace,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Brace, Freaner and West,
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sections five and
six of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at January session, 1872, chapter 212, entitled an Act to pro-
vide for taking a vote for or against a new county in certain
election districts in Allegany county, at the election to be
held in the fall of 1872, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion of Mr. Miller,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a hill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick county to subscribe to the capital stock
and endorse the bonds of the Frederick and Pennsylvania
Line Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. Nicodemus,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick, to sub-
scribe to the capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsylvania
Line Railroad Company, and to endorse the bonds of the said
Company.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Extension of Bal-
timore City to introduce a bill to take in four square miles
