Mr, Lee presented the petition of S. W. Lee and thirty-
eight others, citizens of Harford county, asking the passage
of an Enabling Act authorizing the County Commissioners of
Harford county to subscribe to the capital stock of a Railroad
passing through said county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr, Stake presented the petition of Samuel Lurman and
one hundred and sixty-six other citizens of Allegany county,
against the repeal of the Act of 1870, chapter 380, relating
to running of wild deer in said county by dogs.

Which was read and referred to the Allegany delegation.

Mr. Turner, of Calvert, presented the petition of Jas. A.
Bond, Jno. C. Parker, B. D. Bond and two hundred and
fifteen others, praying for protection from lawless gangs of
oystermen in Patuxent River.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Keech presented the memorial of Lewis Mayer, Esq.,
relative to a recodification of the Code of Public General Laws
of this State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Latchford presented the petition of B. Y. Kensey and
forty-four other citizens, asking for a Local Option Law in
Prince George's county, and making the seller of intoxicating
liquors, or the rentee of the premises to be used for the pur-
poses of such sales, responsible for the injuries resulting there-
from .

Which was read and referred to the Special Committee on
Temperance.

Mr. Clark presented the petition of Ruth Griffith, of Balti-
more City, praying the General Assembly to restore her name
to the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Buchanan presented the petition of Win. E. Hooper
& Sons and others, praying for the passage of a law to pro-
tect the wages of minor children in manufactures from attach-
ments.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Man-
ufactures.
