session March 6th, 1862, chapter 233, entitled an Act to
amend section 202 of Article 30 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to crimes and punishments, and providing for
the punishment of treason, and other kindred offences.

Which was read a first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Judiciary.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to confirm and approve an Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January ses-
sion, 1872, chapter 93, entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners tor Frederick county to subscribe to the capi-
tal stock of tiie Liberty, Johnsville and Pope Creek, the
Liberty and New Windsor, the Frederick and Buckeystown,.
and such other Turnpike Road Companies since the year
1868, or are now in process of construction.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Frederick
delegation.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1853, chapter
441, entitled an Act to continue the corporate existence of
the several Banking Institutions therein mentioned, repeal-
ing the 5th nnd 9th sections thereof, and re-enacting the said
5th and 9th sections as amended.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Ways and Means.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the county
Commissioners for Harford county to subscribe to the capital
stock of Turnpike Companies in Harford county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Harford
delegation.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to add aa additional section to arti-
cle 40 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled " Fines
and Forfeitures," to come in after section three.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 146, of Article 16,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery, Testi-
mony and Witnesses," authorizing Commissioners taking tes-
timony in Chancery to issue attachments against witnesses
