A bill entitled an Act to authorize the transfer of certain
land records and extracts of deeds from the office of the
Clerk of the Court of Appeals to the office of the Commis-
sioner of the Land Office, to repeal section 40, of Article 18,
of the Code of Public General Laws, and to repeal section 55,
of the same Article, and to re-enact a substitute therefor.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal section one of an Act
passed January session, 1872, chapter 320, entitled an Act
for the protection of Black Bass and all other fish in the
Monocar.y River and its tributaries, within the limits of
Frederick county, and to re-enact the said section one with
amendments.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Frederick
delegation.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article
75 of the Code of Public General Laws, sub-title " Practice,"
enabling the plaintiff in any judgment to acquire a lien on
the judgment debtor's property in another county, or in the
City of Baltimore, where judgment was not originally obtained
to follow section 83 of said Article.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on the Judiciary.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act passed at
January session, 1«67, chapter 247, entitled an Act to estab-
lish and incorporate an Asylum for the Dtaf and Dumb of
the State of Maryland, and also an Act passed at January
session, 1868, chapter 409, entitled an Act to amend and
add additional sections) to the Act of 1867, chapter 247; also
an Act passed at January session, 1870, chapter 422, entitled
an Act supplementary to the Act passed at the January
session, 1867, chapter 247, entitled an Act to establish an
Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb of the State of Maryland,
and its supplements.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Also,
