On motion of Mr. McColgan,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
Report was recommitted to the Joint Standing Committee on
Printing, with instructions to report the cost of printing all
matters not definitely stated in the Report, and a maximum
sum, which the whole printing shall not exceed.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Farmers' Manu-
facturing Company, of New Market.

Which was read a first time.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to alter and amend the charter of
the Hampshire and Baltimore Coal Company, incorporated
by an Act entitled an Act to recognize the Hampshire and
Baltimore Coal Companies, a corporation created by and
existing under the laws of the State of West Virginia, as a
corporation in the State of Maryland, and to authorize it to
exercise the powers and privileges of a corporation within the
State of Maryland, for mining and other purposes, passed at
January session, 1864, chapter 295, by repealing the second
section thereof, and amending the same, and re-enacting itas
amended.

Mr. Merrill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal all laws in Worcester
county, entitled "Fencing," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Lamar, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of chapter
303 of the Laws of 1872, entitled an Act for the better pro-
tection of birds and rabbits in Frederick and Anne Arundel
counties, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Seth, Chairman of the Select Committee on Temper-
ance, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of license
for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors, or lager beer,
at or near the ground of the Wesley Grove Camp-Meeting
Association, in Howard county.
