Mr. Merritt presented the petition of Geo. W. Spencer and
others to have Jno. V. Soloway, of Kent county, restored to
the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Sudler submitted the following on'ier:

Ordered, That three thousand copies of the Report of the-
Commissioners on the Boundary Line between Maryland and
Virginia be printed for the use of this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Keech submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal of this;
House that Mr. Matthews, of Baltimore county, is absent on.
account of pressing business.

On motion of Mr, Bond,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay to J. Parran Crane, State's Attorney for
St. Mary's county, for professional services rendered the
State.

On motion of Mr. Leonard,

Leave was granted to the Wicomico and Worcester delega-
tions to introduce a bill authorizing the Commissioners of Wi-
comico county to purchase a site and provide for the erection
of a court-house and jail in said county.

On motion of Mr. Gill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to confirm an Act to declare
the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the be-
quest of John Coates, late of Baltimore City, deceased, to the
Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church, corner of Lom-
bard and Green streets, in the City of Baltimore, chapter
308, and to declare the sanction of the General Assembly of
Maryland to said bequests of said John Coates, deceased.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Baltimore City,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Union Banking Company,
ot Baltimore.

On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to report a
