Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of
Chancellor Lodge, No. 67, Knights of Pythias, of Mechanics-
town, Frederick county, Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Grafton,
Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments section 5, of
chapter 173, of the Acts of Assembly passed at the January
session of 1864, entitled an Act to incorporate the Merideth's
Ford and Jarrettsville Turnpike Company.
On motion of Mr. Miller,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed January session,
1865, chapter 74, entitled an Act to repeal section three
hundred and ten of article eleven of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled " Frederick County," and re-enact the same-
with an amendment, and to substitute iu lieu of the said Act
the following.
On motion of Mr. Brace,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled, an act to empower the Board of Trustees
of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Cumberland to sell
and convey a certain lot of ground in said city.
On motion of Mr. Koons,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to intro-
duce a bill to prevent live stock from running at large in
Jefferson District, in Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Stake,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to report a bill to alter and change the mode of assessments;
of real and personal property in this State, and provide
for a re-assessment of the same.
On motion of Mr. Grimes,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to report a bill to repeal the Act of 1872, chapter 44, repeat-
ing section 204, of Article 21, of the Code of Public Local
Laws for Washington county, relating to Justices of the
Peace and Constables in Washington county, and amend and
re-enact the same so as to provide Justices of the Peace and
Constables for the Keedysville District, in said county.

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to empower the Commissioners of Baltimore
