Mr. Greenfield presented the petition of Sarah Smith, Ruth
P. Griffith and Mary Kane, asking to be restored to the pen-
sion roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr, Grafton presented the petition of Lyndly Vail and
twenty-seven other citizens of Harford county, asking the
passage of an Enabling Act authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of said county to subscribe to the capital stock of a
Railroad running through said county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Freaner presented the petition of Thos. C. Fox, David
N. Wolfe, Hezekiah Weller and eighty-six other citizens of
Hauver's District, in Frederick county, against the forma-
tion of a new election district out of Hauver's and Mechan-
icsville District.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Koons presented the petition of Thos. Johnson, W.
H. Culler and eighty-eight other tax-payers of Jefferson Dis-
trict, Frederick county, praying the passage of an Act to
prevent the running at large of live stock in Jefferson Dis-
trict in said county.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Miller presented the petition of Edward Parker,
Charles Gross, J. S. Figgins and sixty-one other citizens of
Frederick county, protesting against the passage of an Act
prohibiting stock from runuing at large in Jefferson Dis-
trict.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Grafton presented the petition of Simeon Spicer and
twenty-five other citizens of Harford county, asking the pas-
sage of aa Enabling Act authorizing the County Commis-
sioners of Harford county to subscribe to the capital stock of
a Eailroad running through said county.

Which was read and referred to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Berry presented the petition of Tobias Johnson and
thirty-nine other citizens of Washington county, praying the
repeal of the Fence Law in said county, and for the passage
of a law requiring every man to take care of his own stock.

Which was read and referred to the Washington county
delegation.

Mr. Lee presented the petition of the citizens of Harford
county, in mass meeting assembled, asking the passage of
