On motion of Mr. Fenton,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Fenton, Grill, Groh, McCol-
gan and C. B. Hamilton, to introduce a bill entitled an Act
to alter and amend section 2, chapter 215, Acts 1856, enti-
tled an Act to authorize the building of a bridge over the Pa-
tapsco River.
On motion of Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal all sections of the
Public General and Public Local Laws of this State, relating
to Justices of the Peace within the City of Baltimore, for re-
ducing the number of said Justices and for regulating and
making uniform the compensation to be paid for their servi-
ces.
On motion of Mr. Etchison,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to re-
port a bill to establish a Fence Law for Prince George's
county, and to regulate laws in relation to the trespassing
of stock, and the impounding of the same, so as to protect
the citizens of said county.
On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Thompson, Kemp and Daw-
son to introduce a bill to repeal chapter 169, Act 1872, enti-
tled an Act for the better protection of partidges in Queen
Anne's county, and to re-eaact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Fowler,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to introduce
a bill to pay Harry Gilmor, or order, the amount of bill for
work done to State Tobacco Warehouse, No. 5, by order of
the Supervisor of Warehouses, and endorsed by the Comp-
troller.
On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Thompson, Kemp and Wil-
liams to introduce a bill to amend the Act of Incorporatioa of
the town of Centreville, Queen Anne's county, Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Howard,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro—
duce a bill to pay John R. Brown, Jr., of Howard county
for publishing list of defaulters to State,
