the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, sub-
title "Sheriff," passed at January session 1872, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Pruitt, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1 of an Act passed
at the January session, 1872, chapter 131, entitled an Act for
the better protection of oysters, clams, terrapins and fish,
in the Synepuxent Bay and its tributaries, in Worcester
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Henkle, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to establish a free bridge over the
Patapsco River, between Anne Arundel and Baltimore coun-
ties, on or near the present site of Sweetser's bridge.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments section 135, of Article 12, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Harford county," sub-title ''Sheriff," as amend-
ed and re-enacted by chapter 340, of the Acts passed Janua-
ry session, 1872.

Mr. Brace, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Trustees of the Alms-
house for Allegany county to provide homes for children
under their charge, by binding them out under indentures of
apprenticeship.

The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Joseph Spurrier, late collector of taxes in Carroll county,
the amount overpaid by him into the Treasury,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
