ty.

On motion of Mr. Nutwell,

Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to re-
port a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel county to open the assessment books, and equalize the
assessment of L. S. Gulliford, heir of Thomas G. Hardesty,
And Henry Drury, of Plummer, with that of others.

On motion of Mr. Lancaster,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal section 49, Article 30, of the Code

of Public General Laws, entitled " Crimes and Punishments,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Dawson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to pay John W. Temple, Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Caroline county, the sum of forty dollars for fees due
him from the State of Maryland

On motion of Mr. Grafton,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal and re-enact with amendments section one
hundred and thirty-five of Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Harford county," sub-title "Sheriffs."

On motion of Mr. Wack,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the Treasurer to pay to Wm. Morgan
a sum of money erroneously paid into the Treasury.

On motion of Mr. Grimes,

Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation
to report a bill to alter and change the mode of electing

County Commissioners in Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Lee,

Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce a
bill authorizing Eldridge W. Gallup, William F. Pannell,
A. C. Marine and others, to build a bridge over Church
Creek, in Harford county, at or near Marine's Wharf.

On motion of Mr. Stewart, of Howard,

Leave was granted to the Committed on Claims to intro-
duce a bill to refund Charles G. Hanson, of Howard county,
certain taxes erroneously paid in the Treasury.
