favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of Arti-
cle 41, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Fish and
Fisheries," sub-title "Head of Bay," and to re-enact section
4, of Article 41, of the Code of Public General Laws.

Mr. Groome, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably a bill entitled an Act to vest certain prop-
erty therein mentioned in the Westminster Presbyterian
Church. in Kent county.

ably on a bill entitled an Act to add a new Article to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Talbot county, to be entitled
"Sales of Spirituous or Fermented Liquors."

a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 872, of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
relating to the limits of direct taxation within said city, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Lee, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 25, of Article 12,
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Collectors," and re-
enact the same with amendments.

itted the following Report from the majority of said Com-
mittee :
REPORT.
The Committee respectfully recommend to the House the
adoption of the following order:
Ordered, That four thousand copies in English, and five
hundred in German, of the Report of the Department of Pub-
lic Education, be printed for the use of the House, and that
each member shall be entitled to fifty copies of the same, and
that the balance be forwarded by the printer to the State De-
partment of Public Education; and we further recommend,
that as the Report is just now of especial importance to the
