Presbyterian Church, to authorize them to have recorded
certain amendments to the charter of said corporation.

On motion of Mr. Wack,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to intro-
duce a hawk and owl bill to apply to Allegany county.

On motion of Mr. Wier,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Agricultural and Mechanical Society of Allegany county and
West Virginia and Pennsylvania, to issue coupon bonds, and
secure the payment thereof by a deed of trust on all its prop-
erty.

On motion of Mr. Bird,

Leave was granted to the Select Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill to provide against the evils resulting from
the sale of intoxicating liquors in the State of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Wack,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Alle-
gany county to refund to W. Morgan an amount of money
erroneously paid for license.

On motion of Mr. Groonie,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Groome, Hines and Merritt,
to report a bill to vest certain property therein mentioned in
the Westminster Presbyterian Church, of Kent county.

On motion of Mr. Fowler,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to aid in the completion of Beach Field
Avenue, in the first and thirteenth districts of Baltimore
county.

On motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to encourage the production of
sheep in this State by imposing a tax on dogs.

On motion of Mr. Groome,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to add an additional section to Article 27 of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Costs," and to be
section 11 of said Article.
